Scott & Associates - About Us

Scott & Associates are specialists in all aspects of insurance claims management who assist in the preparation and presentation of all domestic and commercial insurance claims resulting from fire, flood, storm, burglary, impact damage or blocked drains. Scott & Associates is a member of the The CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) and is an appointed representative of AKA Assisted Claims, who are authorised and regulated by the FSA (Financial Services Authority).

Up To Date Qualifications

Membership of the CII requires maintaining a CPT (Continuing Professional Training) Certificate, which must be qulified for every year by participating in official on-going CII training in the latest developments in the insurance industry.

Loss Assessor Or Loss Adjuster?

The CII defines a"Loss Adjuster" as a person who works for the insurance company in calculating the value of a claim, and a "Loss Assessor" as a person who works on behalf of the insured in calculating the value of a claim. Scott & Associates are independent loss assessors providing services to the public and businesses.
